Bellini Modern Living, a distributor of modern Italian-made furniture, is heading into the prime casual furniture selling season this spring with three outdoor groups added to its popular quick-ship program.
Stocked and warehoused in Toronto and available to ship within one day of receiving an order, Bellini Modern Living seeks to help full-line furniture retailers capitalize on the growing outdoor category with the quick-ship groups.
From the company’s Italian Garden Collection, the Lucy sofa and chair feature a metal frame in an anthracite finish accented with woven, waterproof, 100-percent recyclable Italian rope and light gray cushions. The Dasy sofa and chair are curvy metal frames in white with an airy X-motif, while the Aria sofa and chair offer sinuous contemporary silhouettes in black metal.
All of the quick-ship groups are constructed to Bellini Modern Living’s commercial-grade outdoor furniture standards and, as such, are applicable for either residential or hospitality settings.
“We know that consumers now are seeking the same level of elegance, style and durability in outdoor furnishings for their homes that they encounter while staying at luxury properties while traveling,” said Hossein Azimi, chief executive officer of Bellini Modern Living. “We think these three groups, which currently appear in some of the most breathtaking hospitality settings across Europe, are ideal for home furnishings retailers who want to help their customers evoke the same modern Italian design aesthetic on the home front.”
In addition to the stocking program, for the first time Bellini Modern Living has created a 140-page digital catalog of special-order outdoor products for 2023: Outdoor Furniture 2023 – Bellini Modern Living. Shot on location across Europe, the digital catalog features Bellini Modern Living’s commercial-grade groups—including the three included in its new quick-ship program—in chic hospitality applications like the hotel Palazzo Gaddi in Florence, the Art Deco Hotel Montana in Lucerne, and the Mallorca Country Club.
According to Azimi, the catalog’s expanded offerings build on the success of Bellini Modern Living’s initial entry into the outdoor category last year with stand-out pieces from Italy like the minimalist and colorful, self-adjusting Quatris dining table, and Twist chair.
“We are expanding our outdoor offerings to encompass more dining groups and comfortable seating with modern Italian flair available in a broad spectrum of finishes and fabrics suitable for designers of commercial spaces,” Azimi said. “Like our technologically advanced metal tables and chairs, our sofa and loveseat frames are galvanized inside and out and epoxy primed and coated with Qualicoat thermosetting powders made of polyester class one and class two, for superior wear in harsh conditions like sun and salt air. Cushions are covered in specially engineered performance fabrics made in Italy and are also made to meet the specific challenges associated with high-traffic areas.”
Additionally, Azimi said Bellini takes all of its outdoor upholstered designs one step further by adding a Teflon coating inside the fabric to create completely water-resistant cushions that will not absorb water and it is anti bacteria and mold.
