TORONTO – Modern Italian furniture supplier Bellini says its Toronto warehouse enables retailers to utilize a “sell/buy” approach, helping them better manage rising ocean freight rates and delays. Retailers can purchase leather furniture made in Italy directly from the warehouse and have it shipped in 48 hours.
The warehouse holds 47 leather furniture models in various colors, designs and configurations. There are no minimum purchase requirements.
“There’s no question that cash flow is an issue for many retailers now, and the smart money is on selling the product first and then purchasing it, not tying up dollars in inventory that may or may not sell,” said Hossein Azimi, Bellini CEO.
Bellini says large retailers are also adopting the strategy due to the uncertainties of purchasing full containers of furniture. Retailers can view Bellini’s extensive inventory of Italian leather furniture online, see exact stock levels and place orders for as few as one to four pieces. The company says this will help ensure quick delivery, fresh showroom floors and faster turnover of funds.
All 47 models are crafted from premium, full-grain Italian leather says Bellini, with motion items featuring dual motors for reclining, and power-adjustable headrests and footrests.
Bellini says retailers can communicate with dedicated representatives to find out about stock availability, shipping times and other concerns, avoiding uncertainties associated with overseas shipments.
